Pallet barcode labeling often has to do more than place a visible label. When SSCC or other barcode identifiers are part of the production requirement, scanner feedback can be used to confirm readability and compare the result with the expected label data. A no-read or mismatch should create a controlled condition with a defined operator path, not an unidentified pallet downstream.
Exact barcode formats, data validation rules, scanner locations, and disposition logic are established for each project. Verona integrates those requirements into the labeling controls and operator workflow rather than treating verification as a separate device.
